We are looking to recruit for a highly organised and confident administrator to help ensure the smooth running of shipments coming to the UK.
You must have a keen eye for detail as you will be checking original cargo related documentation to ensure that all shipping requirements are met.
 
As an Administrator you will:

Calculate and process Duty and VAT for entries to HMRC for shipments to the UK
Submit details into the HMRC system prior to vessel arrival in the UK in order for the goods to clear once in the UK
Speak directly to customers and customs/port health officials to resolve any issues
Check arrival dates for vessels coming into UK portsYou must be proficient in all Microsoft packages. Some understanding of customs regulations would be beneficial or liaising with clients and customers.
 
Ideally the successful candidate will come from an import operations or logistical background and have experience in talking/managing client and customer accounts.
This is a full-time position with working hours from 08:30-17:00 Mon-Fri and great benefits!

25 days of annual leave + bank holidays.
A gym membership at St.Mellion
Starting salary of £22,000 which is negotiable depending on experience.Due to the location of the office it would be hugely beneficial for you to own your own transport.
This position is based in the office Monday-Friday, with no working from home option.
