JOB TITLE: Administrator - temporary 6 month contract
LOCATION: Bridgwater
SALARY: £20,000
HOURS: Monday - Friday, 8:30am till 5:00pm
We are currently recruiting for a well-organised and proactive Administrator that can join an international business based in Bridgwater, Somerset. This is a temporary role for 6 months covering maternity leave and therefore you must be available immediately or on a short notice period. You will be joining a friendly and close knit team of two who will be able to support you on a daily basis, as well as receiving a full, in-depth handover.
The main purpose is to ensure the on time supply of all raw materials and purchased finished products in accordance with the production plan and customer requirements to meet the needs of the business.
This is fast paced and varied role and key responsibilities will include:
Monitoring production reorder levels and raise purchase orders for materials to replenish
Ensuring materials from suppliers are at the correct price and ensuring the business is getting the best value of money for all its purchases
Negotiating pricing with suppliers and chase delivery updates for outstanding orders
Checking and matching all supplier invoices
Purchasing engineering and facilities materials
Supporting the warehouse team and supply chain manager with stock counting/checks
Updating the weekly production plans and report and production changes to the sales departmentThe successful candidate must have the following:
Prior experience working within a manufacturing, distribution or engineering industry
Strong administration skills
Excellent communication and IT skills
Experience working within a fast paced environment with the ability to prioritise and problem solve
