Logistics Stock Operative

Staffline is recruiting for Logistics stock operatives to work at our clients busy warehouse JZ Flowers in Spalding; to receive process - pick and dispatch incoming and outgoing stock and/or orders.

The rate of pay is £9.72 per hour.

The hours of work are:

Monday to Friday 6.30am to 2.30pm

FORKLIFT LICENSE REQUIERED

Your Time at Work

- Organising the storage of incoming and outgoing products in the designated location in the cooler.
- Picking the products in accordance with the pick list/dispatch notes. Placing the picked products with the required forms ready for further processing.
- Maintain accurate stock rotation of products.
- Quality checking during picking and communicate quality deviations with Manager, Supervisors or Planners.
- Effective product handling to prevent damage throughout the picking process.
- Awareness of deviations in stock levels; overstocks and shortages and discuss with the Manager, Supervisors or Planner.
- Stock counting when required.
- Discuss maintenance problems with the relevant personnel.
- Ensure the cooler is organised and housekeeping standards are maintained as per the Company policy.
- Forklifting if qualified and required.
- Be expected where possible to cover extra shifts during peak periods â€" Mothers day, Daffodil season etc.
- Entering and recording intake/dispatch notes and orders, completing and filing applicable paperwork correctly in a timely manner.
- Comply with Company rules and regulations as detailed within the Company handbook
- Any other tasks required by the supervisor and/or managers, in line with the level of scope of the position.
