Maintenance Manager (Oil & Gas)
Glasgow
£50,000 - £65,000 + Bonuses + Holidays
Are you an experienced and outgoing Maintenance Manager who is used to working in autonomous roles where you are responsible for leading multi-disciplinary teams?
Do you want to play a significant part in a company that has recently received the backing of a major investment company and is now looking to build upon the success in the industry that is has already achieved?
This leading renewable energy company specialises in the production of biofuel from natural waste and operates several plants across the UK and further afield.
In this role you will be responsible for all activities on site relating to mechanical, electrical, controls and instrumentation maintenance. You will be working closely alongside the operations team and 3rd party contractors to ensure the continuous, efficient operation of the plant along with implementing improvements to future-proof the site.
The ideal candidate will have 15+ years' experience in a maintenance management position and will have spent a number of those years working in a process environment for either Oil & Gas or for Biogas.
This is a great role for someone looking to get onboard with a company who is both a pioneer and a leader in what they do. You will be getting full autonomy in your role so the work you put in and the decisions you make will shape the future of this company.
The role:
* Leading in all aspects of mechanical, electrical, controls and instrumentation maintenance
* Working alongside internal and external resources to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the plant
* Implementing and engaging with improvement schemes for maintenance activities
* Responsibility for the maintenance team and their continuous development
* Ensuring HSE compliance on site
The person:
* Minimum 3 years' experience working as a Maintenance Manager
* Process background for hazardous process plants
* IOSH/NEBOSH desirable
* Relevant engineering degree or apprenticeship
* Strong people management experience
