Kitchen Planning Administrator, Manufacturer based in Coventry, £19,000 to £23,500 per annum dependent on experience.

We are a long-established maker of high-quality kitchen and bathroom furniture based in Coventry, looking for fresh new talent to join our friendly, collaborative team. The role is mainly office based, working normal office hours, although there will be some opportunities to visit customers, so a full driving licence is essential.

The business has a long legacy of craftsmanship and working with wood, utilising a combination of craft skills and modern technology to produce innovative, design-led furniture. We are proud to have been awarded the prestigious Manufacturing Guild Mark by the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers, the mark of excellence for furniture manufacturers.

Due to the successful growth of exciting new products, we have created this engaging new role which offers a unique opportunity for someone to build on their existing knowledge and develop a broad portfolio of new skills in a supportive environment, working with colleagues to deliver excellence.

Skills Required:

  • Intermediate level Microsoft Excel and thorough knowledge of Office.
  • Experience of using CAD software and /or kitchen planning software.
  • Ideally some experience of planning & administering kitchen orders.
  • Driving licence.

Key attributes & responsibilities:

  • Numerate, organised, & computer literate with strong levels of attention to detail.
  • Works flexibly between a range of different tasks as the need arises.
  • Able to work in a team or on own initiative.
  • Friendly and helpful with an excellent telephone manner.
  • Capable of dealing accurately with a range of tasks to tight deadlines.

Tasks:

  • Liaising with customers on their requirements, including bespoke designs.
  • Making site visits
  • Arranging installations and deliveries.
  • Checking kitchen orders against plans.
  • Processing kitchens using CAD/CAM software.
  • Producing 3D visuals and preparing quotations
  • Administering kitchen orders & general administrative duties.
