Monday - Friday - 8am - 5pm

Role Profile

To manage the resources within the Transport operational functions to deliver contracted services to clients and customers.

Manage and ensure efficient and safe operation of Transport and distribution activity, maximising use of appropriate systems and resources to fulfil customer orders and manage transport processes, ensuring all key performance indicator targets are met.

Duties:

Supervisory role
Support the day to day function of the Warehouse / Transport office
Unit and Trailer servicing/MOT/Repairs and breakdowns
Zenith reports (trailers / O Licence /Fuel cards and costs)
Make sure loads are covered
Driver debriefs
Ensure customer queries are handled correctly
Chasing other depots for trailer services and records
Overseeing driver compliance - i.e. Taco Graphs, signing out, driving hours
Weekly KPI reports (fuel/MPG/Carbon and Globels)
Systems (On the job training)
Finance Reporting
Signing off wages
Key relationships with Warehouse Shift Manager

Essential Skills:

3PL experience preferred - if not, similar experience
Good relationship building
Excellent communication - both written and verbal
Microsoft Office skills - Excel to intermediate level
