Workforce Planner
* Sunderland
* Permanent staff position
* Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE
An experienced Workforce Planner with a background in a fast-paced, outsourcing environment is required to join a thriving company in Sunderland.
Based for their flagship UK facility, you will primarily be tasked with developing and maintaining staffing plans to meet client SLAs.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
* Accountability for setting workforce levels and managing banked hours.
* Main point of contact for schedule changes
* Perform real time analysis of performance and make necessary changes to resource
* Set strategic direction and manage overall delivery of staff planning to meet the demands of each client
* Engage and work with operations management to ensure workforce planning priorities are aligned with operational KPIs
* Develop and maintain workforce management system & reporting
* Manage banked hours, absences and holidays to ensure resource is allocated to cover operational requirements
* Lead staffing meetings with operational management, providing a resource focused viewpoint
* Review and analyse trends in data
* Work closely with the training team, to ensure staff are cross trained against the skills matrix, to be able to manage and flex resource as and when required
Required Skills & Experience
* Previous experience within a similar role is essential
* Strong analytical skills with proven experience in analysing complex data
* Must be able to constructively challenge management
* High level of IT literacy
* The ability to learn and adapt new or existing systems
* Excellent attention to detail
* Manage and prioritise own workload on a daily basis
* Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
