Page Personnel are delighted to be partnered with our client in recruiting an exceptional opportunity for a part-qualified Management Accountant. The successful candidate will be part of the management accounting team, assisting in the preparation of management information pack, and supporting the finance team.
Client Details
Our client is a market leading UK Wide FMCG Business that has enjoyed successful growth over the last 12 months. They support WFH, however, are based in the heart of Glasgow City.
Description
The successful candidate will likely have the following responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of Monthly Management Accounts and Departmental Management Accounts, providing analysis and comparisons to aid decision making.
Balance Sheet Reconciliations
Maintain Fixed Asset Register and Hire Purchase Schedules.
Analysis of financial data to help drive cost savings or improvements across the business.
Assisting in the company audit
VAT Return Preparation
Maintain ad hoc sales ledger
Supervise and assist finance and payroll assistants
Involvement in the implementation of a new company wide ERP/CRM to be rolled out mid 2021.
Assisting with other ad hoc projects as required - for example Grant applications, forecasting etc.Profile
The successful candidate will likely have the following profile:
Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles.
A hard working individual with good practical experience who is a team player
A confident communicator, able to communicate at all levels
Strong commercial awareness and a mindset for continuous improvement.
Excellent organisational skills with ability to prioritise work load and forward plan
Part Qualified / qualified by experience with a good working knowledge of payroll processing procedures and legislation and Auto-enrolment.
Computer literate, Word, Advanced Excel, Outlook and knowledge of Accounting Software - MiraclePay / MS NAV would be advantageous.
Ability to work both as part of a team as well as possessing the ability to work independently to solve problemsJob Offer
This role will offer a competitive salary between £28,000-£32,000 plus benefits
