Secondary SEND school
Based in Newham
Full-time, long-term
Excellent daily pay depending on experience
Empowering learning are recruiting Graduate SEND TA's for positions based in Newham. The positions are to work within an SEND school at secondary level, who have specialist provisions for pupils with Special Educational Needs such as Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties, Moderate Learning Difficulties and Social Emotional Mental Health. The positions are starting immediately for at least a 6-month period.
Job Responsibilities
Comfortable supporting pupils with various Learning Difficulties
Ability to engage and support pupils
Assist with personal care
Supervising children's behaviour

Based in East London or within proximity
Job Requirements
Experience of supporting children or young adults with learning difficulties or disabilities desirable
A University Degree is essential, within Education or Psychology is desirable
Able to stay calm and de-escalate challenging Behaviour
Valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one
Available 5 days a week and able to commit to at least 1-6 months
