Account Manager, Information Technology based in Warwick, Circa £27,000 per annum dependent on experience and profit related incentives.

The Company’s goal is to aid and grow existing IT infrastructure, making best use of it within a company, whether that be hardware or software. By allowing us to take the responsibility and pressure of running IT away from the company, it allows them to run their business withdrawing the worry of the IT.  With a friendly, can do mentality, the Company go all-out to make our customers lives easier.

We are now looking for an Account Manager to be responsible for managing and building the company's relationships with our current customers  and finding new customers and sales opportunities.

This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week usually Monday to Friday.  There may be occasional weekend and evening working and a requirement to attend business network meetings.

Account Manager Main Duties:

  • Generating sales among client accounts which include upselling and cross-selling.
  • Operating as the point of contact for assigned customers.
  • Developing and maintaining long-term relationships with accounts.
  • Ensuring clients receive requested products and services in a timely fashion.
  • Communicating the client’s needs and demands to the management team.
  • Forecasting and tracking client account metrics.
  • Managing projects within client relationships, working to carry out client goals while meeting company goals.
  • Identifying opportunities to help support the growth of the business with existing clients.
  • Coordinating with staff members working on the same account to ensure consistent service.
  • Servicing multiple clients concurrently, allowing yourself to meet the set deadlines.
  • Keeping up to date with supplier offerings and aligning those with the base.
  • Looking for new products and services which may be applicable to existing clients needs and new potential sales.
  • Maintaining and updating supplier, sales and customer records.
  • Scheduling sales appointments.
  • Logging and keeping track of sales communications with customers.
  • Preparing and filing sales contracts and agreements.
  • Performing research towards identifying potential sales leads and delivery and creation of sales pitches and proposals.

Account Manager Necessary Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience within the IT sector is essential.
  • Previous experience in within a similar role is essential.
  • Previous experience working with a CRM is essential.
  • A valid UK/EU driving licence is essential.
  • Knowledgeable with project management skills is desirable.
  • Educated to a GCSE level (including Maths and English) or equivalent is essential.
  • A self-motivated individual with good organisational skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage, prioritise and adjust to situations as they change.
  • An effective team player with a strong work ethic.
