Our client is a healthcare-focused advisory firm, with experts in Science, Insight, Strategy, and Communications delivered as a specialist service. The three areas of their expertise lie in Business Insights & Analytics, Strategic & Scientific Consulting, Scientific & Creative Communications.
They are looking for an experienced Research Assistant to join their growing team and provide day to day project support to ensure effective management and implementation of research projects, someone to contribute to research activities to help build client satisfaction and build effective relationships with internal and external colleagues
They want someone who has a passion for numbers and data, a mathematical wiz who can always demonstrate enthusiasm and creativity in their work. You must have a meticulous eye for detail and accuracy with outstanding organisation skills, as you will be joining a team that strive for excellence in everything they do!
Duties include, but not limited to:
To conduct project management and perform routine tasks to provide logistical support of research projects, including liaising with external suppliers as necessary
To support the production of internal materials and presentations
To develop job costings for proposed projects
To act as a day to day point of contact for internal departments, e.g. for field and telephone departments
To support research design
To manage the data collection process, e.g. set up, preparation of briefing documents, queries and interpretation
To support client relationship through starting to show an understanding of the client's needs
To complete all administrative tasks in a timely and appropriate mannerSkills & Experience
At least 12-18 months experience within a similar role
High level of numeracy and mathematical skills
Understands and is able to apply some basic research methods - demonstrates enthusiasm and creativity
Able to articulate a specific interest in market research and healthcare
Able to articulate a broad understanding of market research
Show evidence of ability to prioritise, multi-task and organise
Demonstrate data-analysis, synthesis, interpretation and problem solving skills
Demonstrate strong communication skills and interpersonal skills
