Solution Design Manager- Home based

We are thrilled to be partnering with a leading 3PL on their search for a number of Solution Design Managers to be Home-based across the UK. We are looking to engage with both warehouse & transport solution designers, autonomous workers and managers confident leading a team.

As a member of the Solutions Design team you will play a key role in the development and design of supply chain solutions for new business opportunities as well as for existing customers. We are looking for someone to act as a work stream lead where you will manage the early design principles and assumptions, project risks and issues, detailed design phase, as well as implementation support.

Key responsibilities will include:
* Design end-to-end manual and automated solutions
* Data analysis (using either MS Excel or Power BI)
* Process flow creation, Equipment selection, Operational methodology selection
* Layout design (using (Autocad or Sketch-up)
* Resource & cost modelling
* Design-end to-end solutions with automation / robotics

Key skills required for the role:
* Ability to self -manage workload and timescales
* Demonstrate excellent customer engagement skills
* Modelling, extrapolating and interpreting data experience
* Ability to break processes down into their individual elements and to look for ways to drive increased efficiency and improved service.
* Understanding of the end to end supply chain experience.
