A Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors based on the outskirts of York are currently looking for an AAT/ACA/ACCA Trainee to join their outsourced accounts services team.
The outsourced accounts team offer a range of services to clients including; cloud accounting, VAT returns and bookkeeping. You will be joining a firm with a strong present across the North East, and some travel to their Yorkshire based clients will be required.
Reporting into the management team, the Trainee/Part-Qualified Accountant will be responsible for:
Preparing management accounts for owner-managed business
Reviewing management accounts prepared by others in the team
Undertaking some management accounting project work
Review and submission of VAT returns
Speaking with clients to resolve queries
Liaising with the accounts and audits teamsThis is a brilliant opportunity that can be adapted to the right individual's experience, however, we do require at least one year of practice experience.
Additional requirements to be successful in this Trainee/Part-Qualified Accountant position includes:
Experience of preparing management accounts, prepayments and accruals
Experience of preparing VAT returns and knowledge of allowable/disallowable items
