Job Title: Technical Administrator
Location: Wythenshawe (M22 5RX)
Salary: £21,449 per annum
Shifts : Mon- Thurs 08:00- 16:30, Friday 08:00- 12:30
Contract Type: Temporary (6 months)
The Company
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Technical Administrator to join the team of one of the UK’s leading Electrical Manufacturer’s operating throughout the UK and exporting to a large number of countries globally.
Reporting to the Production Engineering Manager you will be generating and issuing Production Folders to the shop floor as well as Assembly Procedure updates and document control, SAP Bill Of Material check, upload, and data entry.
As a Technical Administrator, your duties will be:
* Using upload tools to ensure products are correctly set up on SAP and jobs are released to assembly.
* Carry out updates on procedures for assembly, maintaining good document control.
* Upload Bills of Materials, allocate labour time, and Cost Estimates in SAP.
* Assembly and customer document package creation and distribution and maintenance.
* Scanning of Drawing pack and store them for records and customer submission.
* Responding to email prompts to keep project status up to date, maintenance of Excel workbooks and work packs.
* Purchase Specification documents.
* Purchase Requisition form creation.
* Monitoring of outstanding Request for Change submission, improvements and other tasks (QA777 / QA420 / PDCA tickets / Teams tasks etc.)
An ideal Technical Administrator will hold the following skills and experiences:
* High level of PC literacy – Good understanding of MS Excel, WORD and SAP.
* Good communicator both written and verbally with all levels of our business, vendors, and Production Engineering customers internal or external.
* Good attention to detail/accuracy.
* Able to work with minimum supervision.
* Able to work effectively as part of a team.
* Able to respond positively to rapidly changing priorities.
* Adhere to Company policies and procedures relating to Health and Safety, Environment, Quality Management and Human Resources.
Additional Information
* 6 month contract with the opportunity to go permanent.
* Site Bonus Scheme.
* 26 days holiday + bank holidays (If made permanent)
