Our client, an UK based charity in Holborn is looking for a new administrator to join them on a part time basis. They are a community dedicated to beating life threatening illness' in the UK.

Our client is looking for someone who is proactive and could really hit the ground running. This role will be part-time to start with for 3months initially but could be extended. They are looking for a candidate with impeccable written and verbal communication, who is happy answering calls and writing emails to provide practical and emotional support to their service users.

JOB TITLE: Temp Administrator. Charity - Immediate Start!

JOB TYPE: Temporary - 4 days per week

SALARY: £12-13.50 per hour

COMPANY TYPE: Charity

DURATION: 3 Month temp Contract - you must be happy to commit to a 3-month contract

HOURS: 28 hours over 4 days

LOCATION: You will be working from home initially

MAIN DUTIES

Take and return support line calls providing helpful, empathetic and professional information and support for service users with queries on a range of practical and emotional issues.
Answer emails and social media queries from service users providing high quality, accurate and up to date information and support.
Maintain, moderate and grow our online community forum, keeping people safe in a supportive environment whilst encouraging them to engage with each other.
Adhere to all support services policies and procedures and be aware of the boundaries that are in place.
Record all contacts accurately within our database, keep this database up to date and support the team to report on statistics where required.
Ensure confidentiality of records and information relating to service users and staff is maintained in accordance with the companies Confidentiality and Data Protection Policies.
Attend internal and external events as required while proactively building relationships
Be a dedicated, enthusiastic and supportive member of the Support Services Team at all times

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Previous office/ admin experience
Good written skills including the ability to write clearly and accurately
Computer literate, with keyboard skills and experience of word-processing, (Microsoft Word)
Excellent organisation skills with the ability to multi-task to manage a busy reception desk
Confidence to delegate tasks and manage expectations of those requesting assistance
Friendly and helpful manner
'Can do' attitude and flexibility to prioritise a varied workload
