Applied Care and Development Team is a multi disciplinary group who shares duties and responsibilities. All staff members contribute to each area of the team’s work, providing high quality residential care and development for young people who are looked after by local authorities. All staff members must share the aim of working in a collaborative, consistent and cooperative manner within the organisation and a high standard of individual and team practice is expected from everyone. The support team provide a range of services to the care staff and are required to be flexible and creative in every aspect of their work.

Administration

* Filter all telephone calls and enquiries

* Generating and analysing of reports as and when required

* Minute Taking as and when required

* General reception duties

* Typing meeting minutes

* Ordering stationary and general office supplies

* Setting on call phone manager

* Mail

* Filing

* Scanning (General and Young Persons files) development of naming conventions ensuring all documents kept are in line with data protection and company policy

* Keeping office and training room clean and tidy

* Maintain Head of Service diary

* To type minutes as required by Head of Service

* Ensure collation of annual personnel checks; Driver Declaration forms, and Personal details forms

* Coordinate annual night worker questionnaires

* Any other duties as determined by the needs of the business

HR

* All aspects of HR administration; in particular Recruitment, Selection, Induction, Annual Leave, Sick Leave, Pensions, SSSC, PVG etc

* Employee Relations and PR with ‘Internal Customers’

Training

* Produce certificates as and when required for the Training Officer

* Ensure attendance and evaluations sheets are complete and forwarded to the Training Officer

* Up keep and ensuring the training room is ready for all internal training events

* Order Lunches

Marketing

* All aspects of Marketing administration

* Preparation of marketing materials for conferences

Recruitment

* Preparation of training room for interviews and Induction as determined by the Recruitment Officer

* Preparation of Induction materials

* Meet and greet candidates ensuring relevant paperwork is photocopied

Due to the nature of the role, it will be necessary for all Residential Childcare Workers to be subject to a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) check by Disclosure Scotland and achieve membership of the scheme prior to commencing work with us.

CareTech will cover the cost of this check.

All candidates must be successfully registered with the SSSC within 6 months of employment.
