Renewable Energy Engineer

£25,000 - £35,000 + Bonuses + Progression
Are you a graduate or junior engineer with engineering experience in the Renewable Energy industry and looking for a role that will kickstart your career within a flourishing market?
In this role you will be working closely with the CEO of a well-established consultancy that specialises in Renewable Energy to actively research a range of technologies that are available on the marketplace and then assess their capabilities and limitations for addressing both generic and specific client needs.
The ideal candidate will hold at least a bachelor's degree in either Electrical or Renewable Energy Engineering, will be capable of working both independently and collectively as the situation requires and will be capable of assessing solutions from both a technical and a practical point of view.
This is a great role for someone who enjoys the sense of belonging that naturally comes with being a part of a tight-knit team of like-minded consultants and for someone who is looking to establish a name for themselves as a technical expert within the field of Renewable Energy.
The role:
* Researching Renewable Energy technologies on the marketplace and assessing them in relation to specific and generic client needs
* Working closely alongside the CEO, Consultants and Project Managers to support system implementation, testing and inspection
* Communicating with potential suppliers to better understand technology capabilities, limitations, costing structures and subsidies
* Drafting technical requirements during creation of Invitations to Tender
The person
* Living in the Surrey area
* Minimum bachelor's degree in either Renewable Energy Engineering or Electrical Engineering
* Capable of using a range of IT software
* Full UK driving license
* Both technically and practically minded
