Senior Project Manager (Renewables)
Surrey
£60,000 - £70,000 + Bonuses + Shares + Progression
Do you have experience in the management of onshore projects in the Renewable Energy sector? Are you looking to play a significant part in the activities of a reputable and growing company with a promising future ahead of them?
In this role you will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality projects on time and within budget to a range of clients by liaising between all parties involved, managing the Invitation to Tender process, ensuring that compliance is properly met throughout project delivery and consulting with clients at all stages.
The ideal candidate will have clear experience shown in their CV of managing the delivery of projects in the Renewable Energy sector and will hold a recognised degree for project management. They will also be confident with communicating and working closely with all project stakeholders.
This is the perfect chance for someone with project management experience, specifically with Renewables, to get directly involved with a number of exciting up and coming projects that are in the pipeline for a leading consultancy in the sector.
The role:
* Presenting technical options and solutions to meet client needs and consulting with them prior to projects
* Drafting Invitations to Tender, running tender exercises, selecting sub-contractors/suppliers and reporting to clients on choice of selection
* Drafting project programmes and payment schedules, ensuring projects finish on time and in budget
* Arranging training where necessary and ensuring that H&S and CDM compliance is met
* Supporting clients in putting together government subsidy applications
The person
* Living in the Surrey area
* Excellent communication and organisational skills along with demonstratable experience working in a managerial capacity for technical projects
* Relevant project management and/or engineering qualification
* Competent with a range of IT software and financially minded
* Full UK driving license and happy with occasional travel to client sites
