My client is a leading health care and pharmaceutical distributor who is looking for the successful applicant to join their business as a Logistics Operations Manager where you will deliver a consistently high standard of duties whilst aiding the Operations Team Leader and drivers in the performance of their depot management and operational responsibilities.

My client, based near Tunbridge Wells is a successful and leading health care distributor working alongside hospitals to distribute pharmaceutical products to patients.
Description
The successful candidate will join my clients operation near Tunbridge Wells and and undertake the following responsibilities:
* Accountable for the associated stock handling per week of £1.5m per week, ensuring total visibility for all consignments and stock holding.
* Maintain and be proactive in emerging GDP, MHRA, MHRA, GDP, GPHC, H&S, WML (NI) standards from an operational and regulatory perspective.
* Manage an operational budget [including stock of circa £50m per year, £0.2m stock loss].
* To ensure sites adhere to standards in relation to the Dispatch of routes ensuring all vehicles are cleaned within guidelines for GPHC (cleaning rota to be maintained)
* Using controlled documents to report and investigate all abnormalities, ensuring all handover documentation is complete and recorded/sent to all seniors
* Ensure vehicle service plan is adhered to and effectively manage VORs with RCA to support vehicle availability
* Devise and own regional plans and apply resourcing to demand principals.
* Utilise performance data to drive regional improvements through respective depot teams.
* Ensure all driver / team leaders 121s are completed to time and training plan is agreed and deployed.
Profile
The successful candidate will live within a commuting distance to my clients operation near Tunbridge Wells and hold the following attributes:
A clean and valid driving licence
Previous experience in a similar role and within a healthcare business is desireable
Full DBS clearance check
A sound and practical working knowledge of all MS Office packages, the internet and email.
Experience managing a team of staff through effective planning and resource control
Dedicated and flexible, must have a "whatever it takes" attitude to fulfil the depot & operational support requirements in a sometimes-pressurised environment.Job Offer
