Quality Engineer
Extra Personnel are partnered with a well known Banbury based Automotive company.
Due to a new business win they are looking to appoint a Quality Engineer
Main purpose of our Quality Engineer role:
Responsible for ensuring Quality improvements are driven, tracked and Communicated within the warehouse
Familiarity with BMW process and 8Ds desired
Skills and requirements for our Quality Engineer
Ability to work on own initiative
Familiarity with BMW process and 8ds
Must be able to manage customer feedback
Strong problem solving experience
Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels
Good literacy & numeracy skills
Strong attention span with a good eye for detail
Good negotiation Skills
3- 5 years quality engineering experience
Good knowledge of quality improvement tools
Computer literate in word, excel, powerpoint
Previous manufacturing experienceMain Duties for our Quality Engineer
Identify opportunities for improving product Quality and processes
Document and drive all product and process opportunities to closure to agreed timeline
Ensure a high profile is maintained on site
Manage feedback to Management on all quality related issues
Complete Layered Audits and document findings
Close out Layered audit Findings in a timely manner
Provide Quality update information for concerns and potential concerns when they arise
Ensure all containment activities are completed effectively
Work with Customer Quality Engineer to close out customer concerns robustly
Manage KPI PackBenefits
£35,000-£40,000
Working hours: week 1 06:00-14:00 / week 2 14:00-22:00 / week 3 22:00-06:00 (rotating shifts, flexibility is required)
