JOB TITLE: Office Manager/ Senior PA (HR experience essential)

LOCATION: Taunton, Somerset

SALARY: Up to £36K PA dependant on experience

HOURS: Full time, permanent, Monday - Friday.

THE ROLE: This is a dual role where you will be involved in all areas of the business, supporting the CEO and the wider management team with day to day operational activities and administration. You will also be supporting the business's People function, including the delivery of all HR administration.

Executive support to the CEO and management team:

Organising and maintaining the CEO's diary, booking appointments and setting up internal and external meetings.
Providing administrative support to internal Committees, including attending meetings and taking minutes where required.
Producing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations with guidance from the CEO.
Meeting and greeting external visitors, arranging room bookings and refreshments.
Liaising with the internal teams to ensure that all staff have appropriate stationary and ordering when necessary.People function and HR administration support:

Supporting the CEO with People/HR matters as they arise.
Facilitating recruitment processes; advertising, shortlisting, setting up interviews with candidates and arranging follow up calls.
Liaising closely with the Finance Manager to ensure payroll runs smoothly.
Processing contractual documentation/changes and carrying out pre-employment checks.
Attend monthly committee meetings regarding HR updates and Equality, diversity and inclusion.
Liaising with Managers to set up new staff induction programmes.
Supporting Managers with the probation review process; setting up probation review meetings, providing relevant paperwork and confirmations.
Supporting Managers with employee relations matters; disciplinary, grievance, performance management and attendance management.
Update and maintain HR records, uploading documentation, processing starters and leavers, monitoring absence and annual leave, actioning changes as requested.
Draft and issue letters to leavers and update relevant systems and databases with leaver information including personnel files.
Provide HR reports to the CEO when required, absence statistics, annual leave balances, starters and leavers.
Organising work permits and accommodation for oversees business associates.THE CANDIDATE:
You will have solid and extensive experience of supporting senior management within an administrative / PA capacity to include diary management and meeting attendance. You will also need to have HR administration knowledge, a CIPD qualification would be highly advantageous, however, they are happy to consider someone qualified by experience. You will need to have good understanding of MS Office packages, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

As a person you will be a self-starter with a tenacious working attitude and passion for success, highly resourceful and self-sufficient. Excellent communication skills are paramount, therefore a strong communicator with impressive people skills is a must.
