Job Details
Senior Accounts Payable Administrator (with Team Leader exp)
Salary - £28,000 - £33,000 per annum
Home working until return to office in East Croydon
ASAP Start
Main duties will include:
Ensuring the team are working within the agreed SLA and all transactions are processed in a timely manner
Proactively responding to and resolving stakeholder and supplier queries and escalating where necessary
Processing and prioritising payments in line with payment schedule and business need
Reconciling VAT Suspense Account and recovery of VAT invoices to support HMRC compliance
Reconciling all bank accounts and outstanding entries are cleared on a timely basis
Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Adherence and regular review of finance policies, processes and procedures
Supporting the continual development and training of team members
Ensuring accurate reporting and compliance processes are followed, including completion of all month end tasks
Regular review of supplier aging and development of action plans to resolve aged items
Business Partnering across Property and Commercial Stakeholders from outside the BU: Key vendors and suppliers
Cover for other Accounts Payable Seniors as required
Other adhoc activities as directed by AP Manager

What you'll need to succeed
Solid Accounts Payable experience, minimum 5 years, ideally in a supervisor/team lead role
A quick learner who can work to a deadline
A keen eye for detail and a passion for finance
A passion for driving change and process improvement
Experience of working in a shared service environment would be ideal
