JOB ROLE: Temporary Mail Room Clerk

COMPANY: Medium Sized Company based in the West End

HOURS: 08.00 - 17.00

SALARY: £22,000 - £25,000 per annum

LOCATION: London

My client is seeking a temporary Mail room Clear to cover a period of sickness.

There is a potential temp - perm opportunity but you will need to be available immediately and be happy to temp for a period of 6 weeks.

The role is office based and initially you will need to be happy working 6 hours per day increasing to 40 hours a week.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT EXCLUSIVE TO:

Delivery of in-house correspondence
Sorting and delivery of incoming packages/mail to various departments
Disposition of packages/mail
Responsible for sample sale set up and taking down
Stocking of the shipping station including ordering of shipping supplies
Audit and approval of invoices generated from transportation
Handle various projects as assigned by the Procurement Manager & local management
Label printing
You must be able to stand on feet for an 6-8-hour shift
Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds
Stooping/Bending on job - 80% of work time
Grasping/Reaching/Twisting - Continuous through out work time

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED

Must be alert, a fast learner, with retention/recall skills.
Must be highly productive, and have a positive team oriented attitude.
Ability to produce high quality work in all operations.
Skill of effectively communicating with other team members.
Ability to effectively and consistently follow policy, procedures, and Quality Control program.
