Do you have previous experience within Health & Safety administration, and therefore have experience in risk assessments and working with Health & Safety systems?

An exciting newly created Environmental Health & Safety Compliance Coordinator role has arisen at a successful, growing independent real estate consultancy, where you will be responsible for supporting all Environmental Health and Safety aspects within the business - taking the lead in the day to day management of Health and Safety to ensure a professional high standard of service across all offices and departments.  There is also the potential opportunity to work alongside the IT team in the creation of a brand new Health & Safety mobile app that is being rolled out across the business.

As the Environmental Health & Safety Compliance Coordinator, your role will involve a significant amount of related administration, and duties will include:

Investigating accidents - capturing information and looking at what changes need to be made
Administration in relation to risk assessments
Supporting in the preparation for audits
Researching and keeping up to date with Health & Safety legislation
Delivering Health & Safety inductions and training cross the business
Supporting and attending Environmental Health & Safety team meetings, contributing to the agenda and taking minutes
Being a point of contact for DSE issues where evaluation or assessment is needed
Checking Health & Safety records at offices across the business
Assisting with the technical review of Health & Safety documentation and policies
To carry out your brand new Environmental Health & Safety Compliance Coordinator role, you will bring to the table previous experience working within Health & Safety and using H&S systems, as well as an understanding of risk assessments and policies relating to Health, Safety and Environment.  Solid IT, communication and organisational skills are important as well.

IOSH Managing Safely, NEBOSH (National General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health), CSCS or Tech IOSH would be beneficial.

Salary £26,000 - £30,000 p.a. (depending on level of experience).

Please note: This role could be based in London where the majority of the EH&S team work or another location (as long as candidates are able to get to one of the other company regional offices)
