Customer Service Advisor, Manufacturer based in Coventry, £19,400 per annum, 32 days annual leave which include bank holidays.

The Company is a long established, over 150 years, privately owned manufacturing business based in Coventry with approximately 75 employees and a turnover of circa £9M.

A manufacturer & distributor of quality kitchen frontals we are one of the market leaders in their field. The long-established component range includes a wide offering encompassing solid wood, veneered and lacquered MDF that are complimented with an array of decorative and functional accessories.

Having successfully created the Bathroom Furniture Company by Burbidge five years ago we have now responded to the demand of many of its new customers to launch a timeless traditionally English in-frame complete kitchens under the brand Kitchen Makers by Burbidge.

We are now looking for a Customer Service Advisor to support our team and to evolve and grow in line with the ever-changing business needs.

This is a full-time, permanent position, working 37 hours per week Monday to Thursday, 9.00am until 5.00pm and Friday 9.00am until 4.30pm.

Customer Service Advisor Main Duties:

  • Answering inbound calls from existing customers.
  • Solving customer queries often including product specification.
  • Liaising with our logistics provider as well as multiple internal departments.
  • Processing and checking orders across all three sectors of the business.
  • Processing of credit notes and manual invoices.
  • Upkeeping of the Customer Services Database.
  • Dealing with general office duties including filing & administration.

Customer Service Advisor Necessary Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous customer service experience is essential.
  • Previous experience in a call centre is beneficial but not essential.
  • Previous experience working with a CRM system is desirable.
  • 5 GCSE’s including Maths and English or equivalent is essential.
  • A self-motivated individual with good organisational skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to adapt to change.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills.
