Manpower are actively recruiting an Electrical Supervisor for a large manufacturing plant in Billingham

In this role you will supervise onsite Electricians and be the direct liaison between our client and their client to establish the required Scope of Works, including appropriate planning of resources; manpower and material acquisition whilst ensuring the timely completion of tasks to the highest standards of service provision

You will co-ordinate and supervise works as detailed in the Service Level Agreement such as:

Lighting - internal & external
Fire alarm systems - testing and maintenance
Emergency lighting
Portable Appliance Testing
RCD's
Minor new works, repairs and isolations
Meter readings - site utilities
Access control systems
Tannoy systems
Fixed wire inspection and testing

Deliver Tool Box talks, allocating daily task, reporting and reviewing H&S requirements of all tasks responsible for will also be part of your daily duties,

Coordinate team member holidays in a manner that does not negatively impact necessary daily functions and Client requirements

Coordinate external contractors working directly for our client on project works, this will include reviewing 3rd Party Risk Assessments & Method Statements, coordinating Permit to Work and monitoring works ensuring Compliance with Site SHE systems.

Perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by your Line Manager in a timely manner with high attention to detail and accuracy

What do I need to succeed

You will be an Apprentice Trained Electrician

Have a proven track record of supervising and training employees, this will include organising, prioritising and scheduling work assignments to meet organisational time-lines
Be able to identify, evaluate, problem solve and correct errors.
Have the ability to work in an organised manner, problem solving within the scope of the position
Excellent communication skills
To be able to effectively use Microsoft Software, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and OutlookHours of work 37.5 Monday to Friday with potential overtime
