SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Hales Group are working alongside our well established client, an Agricultural Buyer Group based in Norwich, in the recruit for a Supply Management Specialist to joing their team. 

Overview of Role

Working as an integral part of the Energy Team you will provide technical and billing expertise to ensure the seamless running of members’ energy supplies.

Duties and Responsibilities - Role

• Dedication to outstanding customer service

• Deal with member and supplier queries handed over by the invoice validation team

• Providing technical expertise and assistance to facilitate the correction of metering faults and other related issues

• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure solutions are agreed and concluded both

satisfactorily and to accepted timescales

• Record, monitor and update business on progress of all queries

• Assist the business in achieving high levels of efficiency and effectiveness in handling all types of

energy queries

• Ensure energy management systems are kept current and accurate

• Monitor, update and report on consumption data (half hourly data and annual consumptions based on actual reads)

• Ensure that the registration check process is followed for all new business

• Ensure first registration start date meter reads are obtained and recorded

• Ensure that the change of tenancy process is completed

• Ensure processes are followed for installation of new/replacement meters and change of tenancy to ensure data is current and accurate

• Ensure change of supply (COS) reads are followed up if not received, follow on, reads given against

estimated bills are communicated appropriately with suppliers and internal systems kept up to date

• Maintain KPI’s as requested

• Maintain up to date query logs to facilitate management of queries through to resolution

• Identify recurring queries or problems

• Proactively identify process improvements

• Proactively manage the regular provision of meter reads by members.

Performance Measures

• High level of success in resolving issues both timely and robustly

• Work completed in advance of or to agreed deadlines

• All duties and responsibilities kept up to date and appropriately handed over to be suitably covered prior to annual leave or planned absence

• Projects are suitably prioritised, timetables and progress reports delivered to deadlines

• Presentation of reports and data to be current, accurate and timely.

Person Specification

• Knowledge or experience of utility bills and technical issues

• Confident at communicating efficiently, effectively and professionally with all stakeholders

• Excellent IT and data management skills including Microsoft Office packages

• Excellent attention to detail

• Capable of working both independently and as part of the Energy team.
