Personal Independence Payment (PIP) Team Manager - NHS
Location: Glasgow
Salary: Band 7 (£39,693 - £46,467)

On behalf of our client we are currently looking for a healthcare professional such as Registered Nurse, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Paramedic who has experience working on the Personal Independence Payments contract as an assessor or higher and is now looking to expand their knowledge and undertake a Team Manager position.

What does working as a Team Manager consist of?
Becoming a Personal Independence Payment Team Manager will mean you are responsible for leading and managing local PIP delivery teams and assessment centres within specified regions (Glasgow and Ayrshire).   You would be responsible for ensuring the delivery of a high-quality assessment service for claimants of PIP as well as ensuring that high quality reports are returned to DWP in line with the contractual service level requirements. In addition, you will be ensuring that an excellent standard of customer service is provided at all times including administrative and reception service for PIP claimants and ensure that there is an effective training programme for PIP staff in line with contractual requirements.
 
Requirements:

Applicants must be a registered health care professional such as Registered Nurse, Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist and have previous experience working on the PIP contract.
5 years relevant post registration experience within an NHS or similar Health care environment working with clients with complex health conditions.
Appropriate knowledge of the clinical aspects of a wide range of health conditions and disabilities.
Proven track record in the successful management of staff and other resources.
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
