We have an opportunity for a Stock & Data Controller to join our client in the hospitality sector based on the outskirts of York. This is a fixed term contract until January 2022 and could lead to a permanent opportunity for the right candidate.
Supporting the Catering Manager you will be responsible for managing the administration of the purchasing process and stock control and ensuring that all stock held within Catering is organised and logged correctly and that all stock records are accurate with all stock losses and errors recorded.
You will have previous administration and data inputting experience with excellent organisational and IT skills.
The role will consist of.
Work with other key internal stakeholders to order the correct stock from our suppliers
Manage the delivery of orders and reconcile delivery notes with purchase orders
Process purchase orders efficiently and meet strict deadlines
Arrange for purchase invoices to be approved and passed to the Finance team for payment
Organise and store stock in designated storage areas across the business
Arrange returns with suppliers and ensure credit notes are received and processed
Action and manage stock transfers between outlets ensuring records are kept up to date and accurate
Complete monthly stock takes and reconciliation of stock, ensuring that any discrepancies are found and investigated
Run regular reports for the Catering Manager on stock levels, wastage and errors
Enter and modify stock data to ensure records are correct and complete
Maintain constant communication with Catering and Finance team regarding stock management
Undertake any other duties as may be reasonably required
This role is part time working 30 hours per week over 5 days Monday to Friday. The exact hours are flexible and can be to suit the right candidate. The Salary is £14,368 per annum.
