Job Electrical Safety Compliance Engineer
A permanent role has arisen for our client based in Brinsworth, Rotherham for a qualified Electrical Safety Compliance Engineer on a 37.5 hour flexible working week.
What you will enjoy doing:
To manage & oversee the Authorisation Management process of 300 staff
Own & manage the Electrical Safety Audit program -Safety & Reliability S&R
Report to the business on compliance to statutory & company standards of all plant & equipment including S&R reviews SAP Asset maintenance integrity including alignment of standards.
Develop Electrical management of change efficiency & effectiveness on electrical infrastructure
Manage electrical training requirements for the immediate electrical team & whole electrical family
Manage HV Safety rules adoption, deployment training & compliance
Be the interface with the HSE & demonstrate progress & compliance with UK regulation
What makes you great:
Degree Qualified Electrical Engineer, ideally within a Power Systems subject
NEBOSH Qualified
Knowledge of the application & certification of BS 7671
Detailed knowledge of Electricity at Work Regulations 1989
Ideally knowledge of COMAH regulations & the HSE requirements for compliance
Knowledge of the workings & application of BS 50522
Chartered Electrical Engineer registered with the IET & Engineering Council
