As a Customs Supervisor, you will be a recognised and very important profile for the team with strong connections between retail, logistics and services. You will be in charge of the customs clearance process.The Customs team is a strategic department in the Supply chain with regular interaction with external and international agents.

Our client is based near South East London and specialise in sporting equipment across Europe.
Description
The successful candidate will join our clients operation near South East London and will undertake the follow responsibilities:
Prepare customs entries on imports and exports using CHIEF and CDS, ensuring a high level of accuracy and full compliance.
In compliance with international rules, you'll guarantee the import/export of finished products and components, ensuring the process is cost-effective and efficient.
You take decisive action with the organisation of the flows of your activity. You guarantee compliance with international transport regulations and customs procedures.
Coordinate international transport operations - maritime, air and land transport
Ensure the prioritisation of flows and you are the privileged interlocutor of local customs administrationsProfile
The successful candidate will live within a commutable distance to SE London and will have similar experience in a previous role. Prior experience using CHIEF would also be advantageous.
