Maintenance Technician - Days

Manpower is recruiting a Maintenance Technician with our client who are a leading local employer in the food sector.

Day shift Mon to Fri

You will join a small maintenance team working in an automated warehouse and packing facility, mostly on high speed conveyor systems.

We are looking for a relevant Level 3 qualification in engineering/ mechanical/ maintenance with experience working on mechanical systems.

Experience with automated systems is desirable

The Role

Maintain conveyor systems and other mechanical machinery on the site
Assist with upgrades, installations and improvements
Reactive and preventative maintenance on equipment
Fault finding and repairs on equipment
Help organise essential spare parts and stock

What we are looking for

Level 3 qualified in related discipline - Mechanical/ Maintenance/ Engineering
Experience working on mechanical systems
Fault finding ability and can take corrective action efficiently
Some experience with automated systems is desirable
Can communicate well and work in a team
