SEMH English Teacher needed in Welshpool Immediately!

Are you looking for an exciting new challenge?

Do you have experience working with young people with social emotional mental health?

Are you comfortable teaching more than one subject on the National Curriculum?

An SEMH teacher / Social Emotional Mental Health English Teacher is required for permanent position in a Behavioural Therapeutic School in Welshpool.

A Behavioural Therapeutic School are desperately seeking a positive, enthusiastic & experienced SEMH Teacher with exceptional behaviour management skills and a good understanding of the national curriculum. It is based in Welshpool and offers an alternative curriculum to students aged from 11 – 16 who have been permanently excluded from mainstream education. The school is currently restructuring their departments, candidates who can teach multiple subjects will take priority.

The provision has an excellent reputation and is a great place to work; the staff are welcoming, friendly and supportive of one another.

The ideal SEMH teacher / Social Emotional Mental Health English Teacher will have:

UK QTS with SEMH teaching experience (English)
The initiative, ability and desire to deliver fun and engaging lessons
The ability to build good relationships with the staff and pupils
The ability to deal with challenging behaviour
The ability to teach a second subject would be beneficial!
