Belmont Recruitment currently have an exciting opportunity available for a highly experienced Office Manager to join Bradford Council’s Children’s Services Department on a 6-8 month temporary assignment. This is a full time position, working between 29 and 47 hours per week across 7 days on a rota basis.
As an Office Manager, you will be responsible for the supervision of 20 administrators who are currently undertaking a variety of tasks in relation to the Covid-19 response efforts across the district. This will include allocating work, managing a personal workload, undertaking audits, and general management of the busy administration function.
Other Duties will Include:
* Collating information and assisting in the preparation of reports. This also involves providing guidance on the office policy and administrative procedures to staff within the area.
* Taking part in the recruitment process for note takers, administrators and temporary members of staff
* Working alongside the Area Coordinator to monitor budgets and participate in budget discussions, making recommendations as required
* Dealing with highly confidential information relating to the work of the Authority
* Processing financial transactions on SAP for payment of third party grants and refunds
* Carrying out performance related appraisals for administrative members of staff
In order to be considered for this position, you must have experience of working as an Office Manager or Administration Manager, ideally within a Local Authority or Public Sector Team.
