We have a temporary Receptionist role available to join our client within the Education sector based on the outskirts of York.
You will be working within the reception area supporting the team with answering the phones and fielding calls and responding to emails.
Duties:
To act as the first point of contact for visitors, making them feel welcome
Working on a switchboard coordinating high volume of calls & prioritising work & situations
Undertake clerical and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the reception area
Good organisation skills
To be considered for this role you will:
Have proven previous reception, Front of house and admin experience
Have excellent IT computer skills and a confident telephone manner
You will need an enhanced adult and child DBS on the update service
Have your own transport due to the locationThis is initially a temporary contract, however for the right candidate may lead to a permanent opportunity.
Working hours are Monday to Friday 1pm-5pm. The hourly rate is £9.00 per hour.
