Quality and CI Lead

We are working with an excellent market leading Edinburgh based company who are looking to add an experienced Quality and Continuous Improvement Lead to their growing team.

The main responsibility of this role is to audit performance against the Quality Management System and lead continuous improvement projects through the full project lifecycle.

Role

Support certification of the Quality Management System to ISO9001:2015
Assess process effectiveness using established company methods including process confirmation and internal audit.
Identify and drive corrective action through the company corrective action register.
Analyse process performance using appropriate data mining and statistical analysis methods.
Use data reporting tools to verify process effectiveness and support improvement activity.
Implement appropriate process measures and KPIs
Identify opportunities for process improvement, lead improvement project, measure and validate the improvements.
Map processes and ensure that documented information is adequate and used consistently.Person

Educated to degree level or an equivalent appropriate professional qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
ISO9001:2015 internal auditor certification and competent in document control, training and internal audit requirements of ISO9001:2015
Lean / six sigma experience to green belt level
Experience of working in a process or manufacturing engineering role, including new process start-up or equipment installation, for a minimum of 3 years.
Demonstrable practical experience in QMS auditing
Demonstrable experience of leading CI projects
