Community Responder

We are a charitable trust with a passion for supporting vulnerable people in our community to live independently in their own homes.   We aim to promote dignity and respect throughout the service we provide and offer employees a flexible and supportive work environment. 

We are looking for a Community Responder to be a key contact in responding to customers, ensuring delivery of effective care.  Shifts will be 7.00 am - 2.30 pm and 2.30 pm to 10.0 pm, with alternate weekends.  The successful candidate will:

• Have experience in care, preferably supervisory (but not essential)
• Have an NVQ Level 3 in a care-related subject (or willingness to work towards this)
• Be a driver with access to a vehicle
• Be prepared to work across County Durham
