Class 1 Driver

We are recruiting for Class 1 Driver roles for our client based in Milton Keynes and Northampton. You will be required to work from distribution centres in both locations so flexibility is essential.

The role is nationwide trunking and multi-drop driving with no more than an average of 4 drops (may include loading/unloading). You will need to communicate effectively with transport managers and store staff.
Employment will be subject to completing and passing a driver assessment and induction.

Requirements of a Class 1 Driver:

Have no more than 6 points on your licence
Must have a CAT C licence
No previous ban from driving
No CU80, CD10 or NI10
Basic experience in driving class 1
Valid Digital Tachograph card and CPC
Good English and Communication is essentialDetails

Pay rate: £12.29 - £18.44 ph depending on start time
Standard shift is 9.5 hours (if less than 9.5 hours are done, they will still be paid for 9.5 hours guaranteed)
Permanent full time roleRole of a Class 1 Driver:

The role is nationwide trunking and multi-drop driving with no more than an average of 4 drops (may include loading/unloading). You will need to communicate effectively with transport managers and store staff.
Employment will be subject to completing and passing a driver assessment and induction.

Assessment and induction will be a full day (8 hours), once 3 shifts are completed assessment will be paid for.
