Job Details
Immediate opportunity to join the Adecco team of Exam Markers, working onsite at Cambridge Assessment in Cambridge CB22 4FZ.
We are currently operating discreet shift bubbles as a covid-19 safety measure, meaning you will work with the same team each week. This includes a 20% pay enhancement, taking the pay from £9.78 to £11.74 per hour.
Hours of Work
Monday to Thursday - 06:00-13:45/14:15-22:00
Friday - 06:00-12.15/12:45-19:00
Rotating at 36.5 hours per week
Applicants would be required to work the full working hours of each shift as part of the weekly rotation.
The Role
You will be working to target marking and assessing exam papers; primarily English as a second language tests for learners. Answers and marking schemes are provided and you will be marking a range of exam types including multiple choice, reading and comprehension and written responses.
Here are some of the duties you will cover:
Mark accurately following instructions to mark schemes provided
Work quickly and quietly in a controlled environment similar to exam conditions
Record output details daily as explained by Team Leader on Daily Record Sheet
What we are looking for
Experience in exam marking is not required, all you need is excellent attention to detail and a great work ethic to learn fast and deliver positive impact.

Provide documentation for their Right to Work in the UK

All new recruits will be required to meet with us on-site to complete an induction a day/week before their first shift.
