Manufacturing Operative

Staffline is recruiting for Manufacturing Operatives to work at our client's busy food production warehouse in Skelmersdale.

The rate of pay is £8.98, from the 1st April £9.34

Shifts are worked on a 2 week rotational basis, 2 weeks on days and 2 weeks on nights, rotational:

- 7am to 7pm
-7pm to 7am

Your Time at Work

As a Manufacturing Operative at this food production warehouse, your duties will include:
Operation of production lines, palletising and packing product.

- Operating the bagging machinery
- Packing products into boxes
- Checking that labeling is correct
- Checking production lines
- Chemical cleaning

This role involves standing for long periods and lifting.

Our Perfect Worker

Our ideal Manufacturing Operative has good communication skills and awareness of Health & Safety.

You should have an eye for detail and be vigilant, in order to ensure that all products meet the correct standards.

Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential, as full training will be provided
