Transport Manager

Are you an experienced Transport Manager? Are you CPC qualified with a good understanding of FORS? Would you like to work 35 hours/week for £45,000 per annum?

I am seeking an experienced CPC qualified Transport Manager to join a specialist supply company based in Erith. With 32 vehicles and 25 drivers, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of customer orders around Kent, Essex and London.

Duties Include:

Overseeing an office based transport team of 4 and 25 Drivers to ensure delivery of company products
Overseeing daily routing
Ensuring drivers compliance with WTD and EU hours
Allocate staff accordingly
Ensure compliance with legal obligations
Planning and coordination of company vehicles
Moving, purchasing or selling vehicles withing depot network as and when needed
Maintaining FORs accreditation
Producing company reports for Directors
Being present at Senior Management teams to discuss department
HR, holiday and disciplinary management for teamSkills needed:

Previous experience in Transport Manager role required- overseeing operations of min 25+ vehicles
Fuel or ADR experience desirable
CPC Qualified- NON-NEGOTIABLE
Computer literate
