Summary
As Management Information Manager, you will be supporting the business to overcome challenges and help the business develop and thrive. This is an exciting opportunity for an MI professional who wants to be ‘hands on’ and get stuck in to the data, whilst leading a team and playing a key role in the development of business insight and reporting.
Role & responsibilities
Working with a variety of large data sets from different sources, complete analysis and provide in-depth insight in to the customers, operational performance and brand perception.
You will need to be a strong communicator and excellent story tellers, explaining the ‘what’ and the ‘why’ and breaking down complex data and insights for stakeholders across the business.
Ability to turn complex data in to powerful insights.
Use catalogues to target and segment selections and response strategies
Complex, statistical customer and marketing data modelling
Collating and mining large datasets
Forecasting analysis – looking at customer response rate and sales
Profitability analysis
Analysis of the full customer journey– including online and digital interactions
Play a key role in driving and supporting digital transformation of the business
Manage, lead and develop a team of Developers and Analysts
Skills & experience
Data modelling – complex data sets
Advanced user of SQL /SSRS
Team management experience
Strong commercial acumen, hands on and technical/numerical
Ability to present complex analysis in to clear insightful reports – written and verbal
Ability to manage and deliver timelines within large projects.
Understand the extraction methods, and support the extraction of data from primary sources
Communicate with internal and external clients in professional manner, conveying complex ideas in an accessible and engaging way
Supporting finance, forecasting and sales in financial planning processes and RFP compilation as required.
Person Specification
Education & Experience Relevant Experience or Degree in: Information Technology,
Mathematics, or related field
Working knowledge of Microsoft Sequel Server (Transact-SQL (TSQL), SQL Server Reporting Services)
Advanced Microsoft Excel
Experience of data analysis
Creative problem solving, analytical and strategic skill
Creative ability to develop solutions that work, are user friendly, and are easy to maintain
Working Knowledge of Tableau
Call Centre and/or Financial Services experience would be preferred
Additional Information
Competitive salary dependent on experience
Hours between 8am – 6pm, Monday – Friday
Location – Can be based in Coventry or Milton Keynes
On site fully, subsidised canteen and breakout room
29 days holiday, including bank holidays (With the option to buy/sell an additional 5 days)
