We are looking for a dynamic, innovative and data focussed individual who has experience within Supply Chain, Inventory, Procurement or Transactional Administration. The role would suit someone who enjoys working within a small team of likeminded individuals and is looking to progress their career from either a Demand Planner role or Supply Chain. We are open to interviewing candidates from a range of experience, if you have recently graduated and have heaps of ambition or are ready to be challenged this could be for you.

We want charisma, ambition, drive and desire to progress within this role and team. You could even be looking for the next step up into a "deputy" type role with more responsibility.

The actual job…

Accountable for the placement of purchase orders to plan by assuring the most robust and cost effective supply chain partner is selected prior and at point of purchase
Ensure purchase orders are placed effectively and to service level KPI's in line with the correct cost and optimal route of supply
Management of internal transfers, direct ships and second sourcing to meet customer expected delivery dates and system generated back orders
Working successfully in a team of x9 supporting 22 countries and 15 stocking locations, you will also work closely with the internal sales team
Building key relationships with external stakeholders, suppliers whilst maintaining day to fay contact with the company's internal stakeholders
Utilise the company's purchase plan to identify suitable suppliers and place purchase orders in like with key KPI's
Engage with supply planning to optimize point of purchase opportunities
Ensure all back orders and same day PO requests are placed within the Inventory Planning SLA - address exceptions and communicate effectively
Overseeing the placement of project and complex customer inventory to initial customer requirements providing a just in time delivery service
Replenishment of customer specific stocking programs within agreed system stocking criteria
Highlighting over stock/under stock to the Supply Planning teams
Assure a high level of availability of the companies most profitable and important products maintaining an always in stock position
Addressing stock outs and low on hand inventory
Utilise the company's agreed supply routes to purchase inventory under the outlined SLA
Safeguard the company from potential excess on non - preferred or non - replenished SKU's through customer agreed commitments to buy
Manage the In/Out process to ensure orders are placed on time and correctly
Drive automation and simplification within the companies processesWhat experience do you need to apply?

Experience working within a similar role within Demand Planner/Supply Chain Planner/Supply Chain Analyst/Inventory Controller/Procurement Specialist/Planner/Buyer
Experience working within a fast paced, transactional and frequently changing business model
High attention to detail with a natural numerical focussed, numbers and figures driven ability
Determined and ambitious nature with the desire to achieve
Understanding of automating processes and procedures
Natural ability to build internal and external relationships - customer supplier facing and customer focused with the ability to build strong rapport
Understanding of Inventory procedures including knowledge of SKU counts, multiple suppliers and customers across many countries
Advanced MS Office Skills - Power BI and Data Manipulation would be desirable but not essential
Knowledge of Inventory and understanding of inventory management policies linked to areas such as Safety Stock, Lead Times and transitioning into results
Knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain and inventory management processes.
Detail oriented, ability to communicate complex problems and solutions
Analytical capabilities & experience with statistical tools
Prioritisation skills
