Customer Service Advisor

Working with a globally recognised logistics company based in Reading to support customer queries and complaint handling. Excellent opportunity to work with an great brand who can provide both temporary and temp to perm opportunities. Pay rate is £11.02 per hour working hours between 08.00 and 20.30 with a large amount of home working included.

£11.02 per hour - (£21,500 when permanent)

37.5 working week. Saturday shifts are worked on a rota basis, when this occurs, you will have a day off during the week.

The contact centre is open between the hours of 8am and 8.30pm and you will work a variety of shifts within these hours.

MUST HAVE:

5 year history, both employment and any gaps in employment will need to be covered
Valid Passport / ID
Criminal Record Check (DBS/ CRC) / Police Clearance Check (PCC) this cost we will be coveredRole of a Customer Service Advisor working within the Customs Department:

Handling customer enquiries by telephone or email
Updating clients with progress of parcels / packages / deliveries - worldwide.
Processing information onto an in house data system
No cold callingAs a Customer Service Advisor you will need to have:

Proven experience of communications via phone and email
Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.
Accurate data input
The ability to monitor and follow enquires through from start to finish
