Bookkeeper from Practice

This bookkeeping role is within a leading e-commerce company based in East London.

Client Details

Our client's business is rapidly growing and they are looking for seasoned Bookkeepers from Practice to join their teams.

If you have experience in E-commerce this is also a benefit for our client.

Description

The main focus of the role will be on supporting our clients by providing bookkeeping services and support.

To be considered for this role you MUST have used Xero.

Primary duties:

Bookkeeping on Xero
UK VAT Returns
EC Sales Lists and MOSS Returns
Answering questions and providing ad hoc advice to clients
- Oversee a number of portfolios

Journal entries, accruals, and prepayments

VAT returns

Bank reconciliations

CIS returns

Developing financial statements including balance sheet and P&L

Audit queries and liaising with external auditors.

The successful candidate -

Actively studying ACCA/CIMA/AAT or equivalent

Must have used Xero

Previous experience within Practice

Exposure to E-commerce is a bonus

A problem solver with great communication skills

Previously worked within Practice
