Employee Relations Coordinator

LOCATION: Taunton

SALARY: Up to £25K PA DOE

HOURS: Permanent, full time, 37 hours Monday to Friday

We are currently working with one of our long-standing clients to recruit for an ER Coordinator. Their offices are based on the outskirts of Taunton Town Centre and they have free car parking on site. This well-established and highly reputable not for profit company is offering the opportunity to work on a full time, permanent basis as their ER Coordinator.

The main purpose of this role will be to support and work closely with the ER Consultant to ensure case management runs effectively and in a timely manner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assisting the ER Consultant with all the administration duties with regards to case management, providing documents and chasing evidence to build cases for disciplinaries and other consultations
Collating data and compiling key ER reports
Maintaining an accurate ER database and employee records
Assisting and supporting the HR Manager to ensure change programmes are effectively implemented.
Working with the HR Manager / ER Consultant to develop managers with skills, tools and techniques to manage change and employee issues
Identifying, initiating & implementing improvements in work processes
Working with the HR Manager to ensure all actions are achieved on time and in line with the change programme
Carrying out generalist ER administration duties
Supporting the HR Manager / HR Business Partner in collation, checking and maintaining HR records, including assisting with regular people metrics and reporting when required
Coordinating the administration of end to end ER case management process
Implementing HR policies and processes across all areas of the business
Managing and coordinating short term sickness
Assisting the ER Consultant in long term sickness and occupational health process
Support the HR Manager in the delivery of HR change projectsTHE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

Prior HR or ER experience in a support capacity is a must. You will be knowledgeable and experienced with ER / HR procedures and processes and be able to work with the utmost of confidentiality. You will be required to offer a high level of support; therefore knowledge and experience really is key. It is highly important that you are a team player and have renowned empathy and people skills.
