Our client based in Middlesbrough is looking to recruit a Debt Administrator to support their finance team for 12 months, paying between £17,500 - £18,000 per annum.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing debt recovery function;
Running reports from Oracle and preparing for management review;
Preparing and sending debt follow up (Dunning) letters;
Contacting customers to chase payment;
Liaising with project management to resolve queries;
Instructing solicitors (on approval from Financial Controller) and passing information;
to aid debt recovery; and
Allocating received funds via NPg cashiers.
Key Competencies:
Understanding of Management Accounting processes
Strong Microsoft Office Skills
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of core financial systems
Commercial experience
Capable of working independently or as part of a team
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 5 GCSE Grade C or above including English and Maths
Finance background is desirable
The hours of work are flexible can be part or full time and worked over 3 to 5 days.
Due to the location of the office, we would advise you to have your own vehicle. The position will be home based initially however you may be required to return to the office or even work there 1 or 2 days per week business dependant
