Deputy Childrens Home Manager

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Deputy Manager on behalf of a well-established and Outstanding Ofsted rated Children's Residential Provider.

Key features for this exciting role include:
*To assist in management duties, co-ordination and development of a range of quality services for young people referred and/or accommodated within the home.
*To help maximise the effectiveness of staff through motivation, development and the application of our homes personnel policies.
*To promote the practice of working in partnership with young people, their families, other staff within the organisation, and other agencies, in order to meet the needs of young people.
*To assist in ensuring that effective finance budgets, control, administration and records comply with policies expectations and procedures.
*To be able to create a family feel environment within the home for staff and the children within it and promote wellness.

This home in particular is a specialist home working with young people who may have weight management difficulties, self-confidence issues or those struggling with their identity and experience with EBD is essential for all applicants.

This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced deputy manager to engage in and assist in managing a revamped children's home that is taking a holistic route to therapy. The ideal candidates must be highly motivated and want to make a positive difference in young people as well as a proven record of working and managing in residential care.

The role itself is full time and is paying between £24k-£26 dependent on experience.

This post will be subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure and at least 1 years' experience as a Deputy Manager in a Children's Home is essential.
