Traffic Management Supervisor Night Shift

Manpower are offering new opportunities working with the UKs Leading Traffic Management Company. Working either self-employed or as a limited company you will work alongside others who have a passion for TM and delivering a great service on UK roads. This role supports opportunity for progression within the industry.

Within this role you will report directly to the Depot Operations Manager, you will work closely with other supervisors from different depots to manage scope of work and oversee depot stock control. Producing operational documents and drawings for various schemes, such as Method Statements, Risk Assessments and TM Layout drawings. You will supervise the installation of Sector Scheme 12a sites and also implement policies. Leading by example you will ensure the Health, Safety and Welfare of employees under your control.

Communication skills are essential in this role to manage your team, you will deliver Toolbox Talks, Safety Alerts and any other correspondence to ensure that your team is fully briefed to complete their jobs. You must be hard working, reliable and flexible in your approach to work. Decision making and careful planning will be required when implementing new traffic management systems and well as the management of day to day operations and maintenance. Health and Safety must always be maintained and upheld in accordance to company policy and your TM qualifications.

Essential qualifications/attributes:

Previous experience in the TM Industry with involvement in both 12A and 12B works
Hold a current Lantra 12A Foreman Qualification
Proficient in the use of a PC and the Microsoft Office suite of software, able to work within an ERP system
Attended and passed IOSH Managing Safely/SSSTS/SMSTS or equivalent
Demonstrate leadership qualities and experience of leading a team in a comparable role. Leads by example
Full UK driving licence
Excellent communicator and team Worker. Confidently able to deliver presentations to the workforce

Desirable qualifications/attributes:

Hold a current TSCO Qualification
Hold 12C Supervisor Qualification
Hold 12D RLTMO Qualification
Competent in the use of TM design CAD Software

This role is full time, 48 hours per week and you will be required to work night shifts. There may also be opportunities for overtime. It may require infrequent travel to join teams across our other UK operations. To be successful in this role you must pass a drug and alcohol test prior to commencement and throughout your employment.
