A regional accountancy firm is recruiting for a Qualified or Part-Qualified Audit and Accounts Senior to join their York based office.

The Audit and Accounts Senior will prepare accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders across various sectors and will meet onsite with clients across Yorkshire.

Key responsibilities include:

Preparation of accounts from a variety of client's systems - Sage, Xero, QBO
Audit of financial statements from planning to completion, including responsibility for managing the on-site audit team
Preparation of corporation tax computations
Actioning queries raised by accounts and tax managers on the drafts
Finalisation of the accounts and corporation tax computations following client meetings
Acting as a point of contact for clients for ad hoc queries
Providing training and guidance to trainees as required

To be successful in this Audit and Accounts role you will:

Be ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified
Have recent relevant experience of owner-managed to SME business accounts preparation
Have audit experience
Have previous experience in a practice background
